Building something for people whose notes are a black hole - anyone else have this problem?
I have 500+ pages in Notion. Meeting notes, book highlights, journal entries, project docs. I never look at any of it again.
I built a system for myself that continuously ingests all my notes and feeds them to an AI agent as context. Now when I ask questions, it actually knows what I've written, what I've learned, what I've decided before. It's like having a chief of staff who's read everything.
Not sure if this is just my problem or if others feel it too. Before I build anything for other people, I want to understand:
- Do you have a massive notes graveyard? Where do you keep them?
- Have you tried to solve this? What worked/didn't?
- Would you actually use an AI that "knew" your notes—or does that sound creepy?

I’ve got years of notes across Notion, docs, ideas, experiments, even half-built products. The problem isn’t storage — it’s retrieval + trust.
I don’t want an AI that just “knows my notes.” I want one that can say “you already thought about this on X date, here’s what you decided and why” — with sources.
Without strong grounding + citations, it feels magical at first but quickly becomes noise.
Curious: are you thinking of anchoring answers back to specific notes/decisions, or is it more free-form synthesis?
