🏛️ Built EternaVaults - Digital Vault for Families. Need Your Feedback!

Hey Indie Hackers! đź‘‹
I built EternaVaults - a zero-knowledge digital vault for families. Think secure storage + emergency access so your family can access important files if something happens to you.

What I Need
Honest feedback on what's already built:
Onboarding flow - Is it clear or confusing?
UI/UX - Family-friendly or too corporate?
Emergency access feature - Does it make sense? Too complex?
Zero-knowledge setup - Is it intuitive?
Family management - Easy to add members and set permissions?

Try It Free 👉 eternavaults.com - Sign up and test it with your family
Current status: 17 beta families, zero-knowledge encryption working, emergency access live, family management features active.
What I Want to Know

What I Want to Know:
How's the overall experience? What worked well?
What's confusing or broken?
Is the emergency access feature clear?
How's the security setup process?
I'll personally respond to all feedback and fix issues you find.
Building in public, so if you sign up and give feedback, I'll share what I learn.
Thanks! 🙏
P.S. If you've dealt with losing access to a loved one's digital assets, I'd love to hear your story.

The problem you're solving is deeply personal and incredibly important. So many families face this exact challenge but never plan ahead because existing solutions feel overwhelming or insecure. Your zero-knowledge approach combined with emergency access strikes the right balance between security and practicality. This is meaningful work.

Thank you so much Amanda! This means a lot. That really is the point. I wanted to create something to solve a problem and it ended up being something bigger than i ever could imagine. I really want this to succeed but I am not much of a marketing person and i am finding it a bit difficult to make this happen, any tips on that? Thank you :)

Hey Rekha this is an incredibly important and emotionally resonant project. Building a secure platform to future-proof a family's legacy is fantastic work—congrats on shipping Eternavaults.
I came over from a conversion copy angle (I run Quratulain Creatives, specializing in fixing revenue leaks for SaaS founders), and I see a crucial messaging flaw when converting users for this specific, high-stakes product: The Mortality Salience/Emotional Friction Gap.
    The Flaw (Diagnosis):
Your users are purchasing permanence and peace of mind, not storage space. If the copy uses clinical terms like "store," "manage," or "share," it doesn't align with the high emotional cost of thinking about legacy or death. This disconnect creates friction—the user feels the emotion but sees a spreadsheet, and they hesitate. You need to sell the eternal nature of the archive.
    The High-Value Fix (Reciprocity Trigger):
To secure the commitment required for such a sensitive topic, you must lead with language that emphasizes absolute permanence and protection against loss.

    • Rewrite the Value Prop: Change the focus from vault to legacy. Test a headline like: "Your Family's Legacy, Future-Proofed. Guaranteed Access for Generations." (Use the word "guaranteed").
    • Add a Permanence Anchor: On your pricing or feature page, add a copy block that directly addresses the long-term fear: "What happens in 50 years? We guarantee permanent, compliant access to your designated beneficiaries, regardless of company status." (If this is true).
This shift in language elevates the product from simple digital storage to an essential, emotional service, eliminating the fear of loss (Mortality Salience) that is the core purchasing motivator.
Hope this high-leverage idea helps you capture more conversions! Keep building!
