I’ve been obsessed with the operational side of Shopify lately.
One thing that consistently blows my mind: even in 2026, most merchants are still spending 10-20 minutes manually copy-pasting data to list a single product. It’s a massive growth killer.
I’m building Filleo to turn that into a 15-second task. It’s an agentic AI that takes messy product data (supplier sheets, PDFs, raw notes) and transforms it into a ready-to-publish listing.

1 Credit = 1 complete Product generation from messy data

Cool idea - this is exactly the kind of workflow pain Shopify merchants still quietly tolerate.
On the $0.99 angle: it’s great for lowering friction, but it can also unintentionally anchor the perceived value low, especially for something that clearly saves hours of manual work. You might get better signal if you frame it as a limited beta price or “first cohort” pricing, so it feels like access rather than discount.
Also worth testing whether your real users are “one-by-one listers” or teams migrating catalog batches - those are very different willingness-to-pay curves.
The biggest unsolved manual task I still see in ecom ops is cleaning inconsistent supplier data (especially variants + attributes normalization). If you solve that reliably across messy sources, that’s the real moat.

I have seen many apps that actually tend to solve the issue of uploading products in bulk. But for a frequent use, most resellers upload products on a daily basis, either by manually going through the details to fill relevant fields like title, description, etc or just using chatgpt. Now the thing to note is that chatgpt does generate details like description and title, but if you get an equivalent of chatGpt right in your shopify admin panel that understands what your store usually sells, and is personalised to meet your store’s needs…that’s what Filleo does!
And yeah, thanks for mentioning the fact that messy data is indeed a real point in the world of e-commerce and I have felt that. Currently, the app aims at allowing merchant to upload any unstructured and messy data into the prompt box to let Filleo do the rest. Although, based on further feedback, Filleo might potentially move towards doing it for 10s of 100s of products at once instead of one by one!
