Hi! 👋
I recently launched TimeBoxer, a productivity app built around timeboxing—a time management technique that changed the way I approach my work. Timeboxing involves setting specific time blocks for tasks, which helps focus on one thing at a time, avoid distractions, and prevent burnout.
Why I Built TimeBoxer:
As someone juggling multiple responsibilities, I constantly felt overwhelmed by long to-do lists and tasks that seemed to stretch endlessly. Timeboxing helped me take back control of my schedule, but I couldn’t find an app that made the process simple, effective, and intuitive. That’s why I built TimeBoxer: to give people a tool that makes it easier to get things done while maintaining balance and avoiding burnout.
What TimeBoxer Does:
• Lets you set custom time blocks for tasks to stay focused and structured.
• Provides motivational milestones at 25%, 50%, and 75% to keep momentum going.
• Sends gentle overtime alerts to help you wrap up and move on to the next task.
• Tracks progress so you can reflect on your productivity patterns and improve over time.
It’s designed for anyone —from busy professionals and entrepreneurs to students and anyone feeling overwhelmed by their daily tasks. While it’s currently only on iOS, an Android version is on the roadmap if there’s enough demand.
The Goal:
My mission with TimeBoxer is to make timeboxing a mainstream tool for productivity. With so many people experiencing burnout and distractions, I believe a simple structure like this can make a big difference in how we manage our time.
I’d love to hear your feedback—whether on the app, feature ideas, or ways to grow the user base. I’ve been promoting TimeBoxer on Reddit, Quora, and with Apple Search Ads, but I’m always open to fresh ideas from the Indie Hackers community!
