Can you do it all as a mum and a founder?
Yesterday was huge. I finally launched Lazy Sundays and spent the day channeling all the nervous energy that comes with any big moment in life.
It. Felt. Great.
I thought that I couldn’t do any of this now that I had become a mum; I thought I had to choose.
And I do, to an extent. I can’t give the same all-day-every-day energy when I also have a little human to raise.
And that’s ok. More than ok - great, even.
My son gave me the balance I couldn’t ever reach the first time I ran a business.
So just a little reminder to anyone - especially any mums out there - who want to launch a business but worried you can’t do it all: take the leap of faith.
There is space for you to turn your ideas into flourishing businesses. You’ll find your own rhythm around the other things you have going on in life.
For me, that means working 9-3, and then dedicating the rest of my day to my family. If I have things left to work on (which I usually do), they happen after my son’s in bed or they have to wait until tomorrow.
You can’t do it all, but you can make it work.

I am in the same shoe. My son was just born recently and it triggered a search to get me out of the corporate rat race.
I currently make a decent, but not ridiculous amount in tech. But it comes at the cost of working more and more to make other people's richer, while taking time away from family.
I am hoping to turn some of my skills/knowledge into a small business and get back some control on the time spent.
