Can you recommend a cloud-based Windows VM host? I want to setup a 24/7 YouTube live stream.
I want to setup a 24/7 livestream on YouTube, which will utilize OBS Studio to stream some images, overlaps, videos, and play music. I have streamed before, so I know how to setup OBS and connect to YouTube, but I don’t want to host a 24/7-running PC from my own house. I’d rather be established in the cloud, so I can maintain it from anywhere (when I need to login every once in a blue moon).
Cost-cutting is important, but I foresee needing just barebones performance. Does Google or Microsoft have a simple solution for me?
Digital Ocean is a host I’ve used in the past for their one-click Linux installs of Wordpress and Ghost blog. But they don’t have Windows VMs, so I’m looking elsewhere.
I have a solution for you. I think you can take advantage of something like the cheapest rdp because that's the tool that helps me develop in this direction a hundred times faster. That's why I prefer to take additional tools to see more positive and better results. I am very good at it on a professional level, so I can totally recommend you to take advantage of it. This is the direction to develop if you need to find efficiency and effectiveness. I'm sure you can have success in this business.

Otherwise most small VPS companies don't offer Windows RDPs, I imagine due to licensing cost issues
