Can you sell without incorporating?
I'm thinking of building my first MVP. I don't want to incorporate(create a business) unless I know the product would sell.
Can you accept payments through Stripe without first incorporating? How about another payment processor?
I could try getting users who promise to pay for the product but, I would like to see them actually pay.

Yes definitely! You can sell or validate your idea without incorporating a business. I think Stripe would allow you to accept payments without having to incorporate your business. You would need to do this as a sole proprietorship in the U.S.

As a sole proprietorship, I'm guessing you could use a personal (non-business) bank account?
Yes. There is no legal requirement for a sole proprietor to have a separate account for business. But it is recommended to open one for convenience.
I don't know if stripe allows it or not however legally you can do it via sole trader/sole proprietorship or its equivalent in your country. You would also have to register for VAT/ salex tax or its equivalent in your country depending on the amount of money you want to take. These things are always country specific so please mention your country when asking the question you will get better advice

Thank you for the info. I'm sure some online payment processor will allow it as a sole proprietorship.
