🎄Challenge - Launch a Start Up before Christmas 🎄21 December

I didn't officially join, but I had an internal goal of shipping our new update for https://monitoro.xyz before Christmas.

...drum rolls...

We made it indeed, just a couple of hours ago, after weeks of continuous work.

Why was this update so important? We just introduced tiered premium plans, and hopefully people will get to try that out over the holidays!

Well, my challenge to publish my first chrome extension is done!

Joining late today. So here it goes.

Did some overhead work to get Hashr.io started:

• Stripe account verified
• Struggling with how to name the paid subscription plan
• Finished database setup to count all hashes and give a nice analytical view on what hashing algorithms are used and how often they are used
• Finalized database setup for paid accounts and hashing histories
• Pledged all my profits up to $50 and 5% of all additional profits to charities
• Finalized a stats page. Full transparency to our stats, our costs and future charity payments

Getting some more work done later in the night.

We were planning on doing a proper launch in mid Jan, but I like the rush this challenge brings and would love to join and try and do a soft launch before Christmas. We have our product ready for early release, but have been sprinting towards last mile features and polishing.

Some important core features currently WIP are estimated to be finished by next week.. We want to see if we can get the critical ones done by christmas to be part of this post :)

Made good progress through the week and still on track. Wrote a utility to extract prices from thread titles on Reddit using regex. Mocked up a very rudimentary UI using Bootstrap that lists products from a json file and let's you filter on category and price. Bought a domain and started a Flask server on Digital Ocean.

Only big thing left to do is pull everything together on the server, so should have something to show this weekend!

I got sick in the past 2 days and didn't feel like sitting behind my computer. I'll have a go at it tonight. At the moment it's not a matter for me if I will finish but how many features will be shipped at first glance :D

Haven't started yet with the landing page and Stripe Billing :(

Yesterday I came back home late in the evening and managed to finish off some little things. Better than nothing.

What I have done
✅ Finish user registration and login

Plan for December 21
🔳 Fix bugs and test registration and login system
🔳 Build the view to create and save goals

I should get both things done by today. Let's stay positive. I think I am pretty much on track to deploy the MVP by the end of the weekend.
