ChatGPT open, proposal still ate my day — fixed it with a timed slot

If you sell your own work you know the pattern: lead replies, ChatGPT opens, afternoon disappears into a mushy proposal draft.

The model isn't the bottleneck. The blank-page ritual is.

What fixed it for me:
• One calendar slot (45–90 min max)
• One SOP order every time (outline → draft → tighten → risk reversal → send)
• Structured prompts + a filled example + a checklist that ends the session

Where do your proposals balloon — outline, pricing, or tone?

The strongest insight is that ChatGPT isn't the bottleneck—the unstructured proposal workflow is. The timed slot, fixed sequence, example, and stopping checklist turn an open-ended task into a repeatable process.
