CherryTree clone in 5000usd (freelancer offer) [Need Advice]

Hi ppl,

I have got an offer (on freelancer.com) to build cherrytree app's clone in JS. The app will not be sold but will be used privately by the buyer. Cherrytree is an oldschool opensource hierarchical notes taking app.

I am asking for 10k usd atleast but he is not agreeing. Please suggest what should i do?

I like the idea but not convinced with the price. Shall I rather release it like an app which he can also use personally but that i will do only if i have guaranteed paying users which is VERY DIFFICULT in note taking apps.

As there are infinite note-taking options for users.
