Chrome Web Store: Verify idea before publishing?

Hello IndieHackers!

I have been developing a Chrome extension that interfaces with Google Slides... Basically it allows presenters to create interactive content like polls, letting a participant draw on a slide on the presenter's screen from their phone, etc. Great for sales pitches, educational settings, etc.

There is a client-side voting/ feedback interface, and the resulting poll or participant-generated content is then displayed real-time inside an active presentation.

I know these sorts of things already exist, but honestly, the user/ participant experience isn't great, and I think I've found some great ways to draw really interesting insights for the presenter.

Anywho, as you can imagine, the product is highly reliant on the Chome extension manipulating the GSlides presentation DOM and injecting the live content. I've got it all working beautifully for a beta release (hopefully soon!), but I'm getting nervous that Google are going to reject my plugin on the basis it is essentially messing with the GSlides UI. Their wording on what is acceptable is quite vague so hard to tell what they will be OK with. Especially as I am messing with another Google product.

Does anyone know if there is a way I can verify this with Google before sinking any more hours into developing this? To get it ready to submit, I basically have to get it into a decent state so they can review the end-to-end flow and it's quite a bit of work yet.
