Consolidating my design stack: What does your visual workflow look like?

When you're building solo, context switching is probably the biggest productivity killer. Lately, I noticed I was spending hours just trying to get the right visual assets for my landing pages and blog posts—jumping between a prompt generator, an upscaler, and then a heavy editor just to fix minor details.

To streamline things, I've been trying to consolidate my design stack. I've moved to using NanoBanana 2 Pro for most of the heavy lifting since it handles both the AI image generation and the actual photo editing in the same browser window. It's saved me a noticeable amount of time because I don't have to keep exporting and importing assets between different web apps. For the final text overlays and layout structuring, I just drop the generated images straight into Figma.

If any other makers are doing their own design and content marketing, I'm curious what your visual workflow looks like. Are there any other lightweight tools you rely on to keep the momentum going without getting bogged down in design tweaks?
