Converting one time payment product to subscription - what's the best way to handle existing users?
I'm rewriting my existing product from the ground up with tons of new features added, massive performance improvements and lots of other good stuff that I think justifies a monthly subscription.
However v1 of it is a one time payment. What's the best way to handle existing paying users?
Should I offer a time limited bonus (3/6/12mo, etc), or give them permanent free subscription or something else? 🤔
Can you give them what they paid for continuously? And offer a reduced sub price to upgrade to a higher tier?
Mailchimp had a legacy tier.
