IH team!
I am starting this project management web app: ProjectFlow.co. I know what you're thinking - "another project management app".
Yes! But why? Two words, cost effective. This does not cost a lot and provides all the features you need. Even in the free account.
Let me know your guys opinion!!
Cost-effective based just on low $ monthly fee is the most common and dumbest fallacy.
The real cost is determined by setup, learning/training, integration, and cost of migration when customer outgrows the initially cheap solution. These commonly exceed the aggregate lifetime monthly $ costs by 10-100X.
And the real value is determined by the quality of the produced results, which in turn can impact the company by 10-1000X more than the above total cost of the product.
Like the idea and appreciate you're taking this forward. However, "price point" is very subjective. And it's seldom the only factor where people decide to subscribe in the long run.
Make sure to spend time research the customer landscape and develop a great product that people are willing to pay even you're above the market.
I'm a user of Todoist, Asana, Airtable, Notion and HubSpot. I like the features they're offering as well as customer support and community. I can't see you're bringing this value. Maybe you would consider it? @Silverback23
Congrats! There are a lot of project management platforms out there, so it’s a competitive space. However I do think that there is a place for a free or cheap one.
For many smaller companies or freelancers I think Basecamp et al are just too expensive and/or bloated for many use cases.
