Crazy idea - feedback, please?
You have probably seen External Notice Boards all over the city. Where you can post for free an advertisement (printed poster or a simple piece of paper). The idea is to digitalise Notice Boards in my area.
- How? Taking photos of the Boards and publishing it on the website.
- Why? To make offline boards accessible to people who can't access it.
Feedback, please?
Who would take pictures of the boards? Images are also not accessible for blind people. How would other people find it online? It almost seems like all the types of things on the board would need to be tagged somehow, for discoverability.
My day job is a community polling startup, mostly for local government. We've thought about the opposite, leaving location specific app invites (would you like this cafe to be able to serve wine?).
Thank you for your reply! I didn't quite get the point with your opposite thinking idea.
Yours is taking a location specific thing and putting it online, we would be taking something that's online and put it in a specific location.
