Hello, I launched Gitog, a simple tool.
Do you need a portfolio in the next few hours because you don’t have one yet, or because yours is outdated? Gitog transforms your GitHub into a portfolio that you can use to apply for jobs or share your projects with anyone.
It’s useful because I also always had the same problem: I was too lazy to keep my portfolio updated. It could stay unchanged for weeks while my projects kept moving forward.
Since the launch, the project has continued to evolve. I received a lot of feedback that helped me improve the product, understand what wasn’t working, what was unclear, or what people didn’t fully understand. I improved the landing page, the features, the design — basically everything that helps a SaaS grow.
Creating a SaaS means constantly improving your project: listening to users, understanding their problems, and trying to make things better every day.
I also started doing outreach on Reddit to find my first users. That’s where I had to start learning how to convince people. I went from being a developer to someone trying to sell a product, which is a pretty different experience.
But with practice, I think my sales skills are improving little by little, and I believe the first sales will come in the next few weeks.
The project is moving forward slowly. I’m not necessarily looking for a big viral moment, but rather constant improvement, building something step by step and trying to create real value.
Try Gitog, and if you like it, become a user. Your feedback will also help me continue improving the product.

I hope it can be useful to you 🚀
