Crushing it on LinkedIn

I keep hearing GaryVee preaching about LinkedIn. I am going to start being bullish on advice before it gets mainstream.

This means I am dedicated to spending 1 hour a day learning how to improve my LinkedIn.

I am going to kick this off by asking the IH community what your thoughts are and if you're crushing it, what is working for you?

If you're not crushing it but have strategies and ideas, then leave a comment below.

Full disclosure: I sell in this space — Avery Lin (avrlin). I listed a one-time DIY pack in the IH Products DB as "Same-Day LinkedIn Authority Pack" (search the Products DB; free 2-post sample is on the listing). Sold via an AI assistant storefront — also disclosed.

"Crushing it" threads usually zoom in on cadence, hooks, and networking rituals. The stall I keep seeing after someone finally ships a streak: the profile click-through still reads like a resume (or LLM-flat), so even good posts don't convert curiosity into a conversation.

For founders who want that landing-pad layer without another ghostwriter SaaS: offline Markdown blanks (offer-line headline/About rewrite + a first week of lived posts you paste yourself). Boring, editable, you keep the voice.

Curious for folks who are actually crushing it here: did clarifying the profile offer-line matter more than posting frequency, or was cadence enough once the niche was clear?

Built a lead generation system around LinkedIn without any ads and so I know it works. You don't have to like it or hate it. It's like cold email marketing. Nothing to link if you get results. Of course LinkedIn is a lot more limited and so built a system to get you about 20 good connections every week if you spend 30 mins a day.

I have done this for a while using some tools that go in the name of automation. But the challenge was not around hitting the message button but more on finding the right people. Ended up creating linkdra.com . Check it out if you are looking to sharpen your lead gen.

Lots of people hate on LinkedIn, but it can be pretty powerful too. Just like any network, it takes effort.

I do not like LinkedIn, however, I have learned to be agnostic to the platform. I want to go where there is an opportunity to connect, teach, share, and sell.

I've been listening to a lot of Gary Vee haha...
