Crypto Stock Trading App - Community Governed
I had this idea to build an app that let me trade stocks and crypto.
I don't want to use two separate apps. I want to move funds back and forth, and you can't do that unless it's on the same app.
Sure, the big guys are now letting you buy some crypto, but, it's only the top crypto. I want to invest in crypto assets that have just come out.
Sure, you can use a decentralized exchange to access DeFi tokens, but, I don't want to handle my private keys. I want a trusted custodian to do this.
I scoured the internet, and maintain a running list of 600+ related crypto/stock/finance companies that do one, some, or many of the things we do. I'm learning about more every week, but I haven't found anything yet, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist, or isn't big enough to be found.
This app lets you trade stocks and crypto, cash balances FDIC insured to 250k and stock accounts SEC insured to 500k. It doesn't make any profit for it's shareholders. All fees go into the company treasury. The community owns tokens, and determine what to do with the treasury funds. All community members receive credits when contributing, and these credits are redeemable for tokens.
We've created a trading platform, a discourse forum, a goverance token, and our token is approved for trading in a decentralized exchange. what do you think of this idea?
