Culinary based social platform - Full Stack developer
Hi Indiehackers,
We are team of 3 working on a social platform purely based on recipes and culinary. Idea is to connect people with culinary. We are well aware of all existing social media and networking site.
Disclaimer: This is not a project which is aiming for immediate revenue or profits: We are for long term.
All of the team members including myself are passionate about cooking and one of our team mate had been into culinary for more than a decade. And we know that information is scattered, and there is no platform to connect people based on their food interest and cooking.
Coming back to the idea:
To connect people with food, cooking and culinary.
To help home grown product to sell with micro commerce
To provide various local services (Caterers, ready to eat makers) to sell their services side by side.
What we are: We are a team of 3.
- A domain expert with more than decade experience in culinary. Has connect with broader audience in culinary and food industry and hospitality sector.
- Architect who can design the whole application, give support in database design and high level activities. (Currently engaged in another startup)
- Product Evangelist who will provide designs, sketches and future direction of product and its business model.
What about existing platform:
We had done a quite a bit of research and found that most of them are content centric. They focus on content and not on people. We will be people centric and our focus is people and building relationship based on food and culinary.
Stage: Basic platform sketches are ready and we are about to start the architecture and DB design by next week.
Expectation: Full stack developer who can build a MVP and later can lead the team to build a full product. Engagement model: Equity or open for discussion.
Preferred Stack: NodeJS, Mongo DB/Postgres, React.
