[day 57] leaving indie hacker?
i missed yesterdays post. and might have missed today as well.
i've been thinking
a) i miss these posts because i get low engagement on my posts. i am unable to see growth here.
b) i am using indiehacker wrong. maybe the purpose of indiehacker is not to post everyday, but connect with other indiehackers?
regardless, i need to figure this out. either go all in or not do it.
hanging in the middle doesn't seem like good strategy.
regardless, was setting up shop for barecare & got a new user for reverscan from us today!
low engagement on the daily posts but you literally landed a new reverscan user today? that's the part that matters imo, the posts are just noise around the real signal. i'd keep shipping and stop checking the likes so much.
yeah i've been shipping, but just generally been all over the place. slowly getting back my focus.
day 57 is where it usually gets quiet for a lot of people. i went weeks on single digit likes and almost bailed too. the connect-with-people-instead-of-posting-daily read you landed on is probably right, posting into the void just burns you out tbh.
you know what, that's actually makes a lot of sense. posting into the void is burning me out. need to think a little differently about this.
