Day 92 of #The100DayProject: 1 week to go 😀

Big, busy day for day 92 of #The100DayProject ! Let’s get straight into it:

• Firstly, the big news, I have donors! 🎉🎉🎉 I’d set myself a little mini-goal to have a few friends and family get the ball rolling pre-launch, after all, it is for them that I’ve been doing this project in the first place. Luckily there’s plenty of enthusiasm, so I’ve gotten the ball rolling with recurring donations committed from:
My mum, brother, partner and best friend (well...he’s donating as I write this), thanks guys! 😍

• So, with donations underway I had to make some changes to my Donorbox email templates, including a typo, and some localization stuff around date and time. Additionally there was some back and forth with Donorbox to iron out some small issues and familiarise myself a bit more with how it operates now that money is actually arriving.

• My partner also proofread the lion’s share of the Open Letter for me and gave me lots of great advice and thoughts, she’s a university lecturer so knows a thing or two about marking essays.

• I reviewed and implemented all her feedback.

• I’ve also requested a few kind people further proof reading in the coming days.

• Last, but not least, I also started working on the actual web page draft for the Open Letter (currently it’s just in notion and a google docs)...it’s a slow process but it’s coming together nicely!

That’s today! Launching in just 1 week now 😬

Damn! You are actually about to make it. This project really grew a lot. When you started, I was like "meh, it wont last long" (probably because I still lack this really hard work)., but still decided to follow you. But now, looking backwards, you really proved me that hard work pays off. Congratulations and hope you keep the challage after the 100 days. (I guess you will probably do, because now it becomed a habit).

Thanks, I'm glad to hear you followed along a little :-) Honestly I've never attempted 100 days of continuous output on something either, it's been fairly brutal at times - when you report on/measure your progress in daily digests, rather than weekly or monthly, sometimes it feels like you're hardly progressing and sharing pitifully small improvements. But early on a few IHers pointed out the value of momentum and how it will really build up, and it seems like they were wise words.

Once the site is live maybe I can convince you to become a donor 😉
