Dealing with demotivation as an Indie Hacker

Stop building and start marketing. At least for half an hour everyday. Even if your product is not complete. The idea of acquiring your first fans and potential future customers should help you get some motivation.
For me personally, I get motivated when I can't see any progress. This can come in many forms, and often when you are in the moment you can't see it.
I often try to visualise and remind myself where I was 3, 6, 12 months ago. And in most cases it reminds me that I have done good, things have progressed and that I deserve a pat on the back. 😊
Thanks for sharing this Jose. Ever since I quit my job to become an indiehacker I too am going thru cycles of strong motivation and demotivation. Sometimes I am filled with excitements and sometimes I get overwhelmed and get anxiety attacks. Wishing you a success and a fun journey!
