Dealing with mysterious traffic fluctuations
I recently launched a total redesign of Behold. Dishearteningly, my site traffic started declining around that time, and has plummeted to multi-month lows over the past couple weeks. I've received positive feedback about the new design, and my conversion rates haven't changed, so I know it's not the design itself, but it's still frustrating!
Do any of you folks have experience with sudden, extreme drops in traffic like this? It appears that traffic from all sources has declined, so I have no real clue what could be causing it. Is November just a cursed month? Maybe Google tweaked the algorithm and I'm getting randomly punished?
Not sure if I'm looking for advice, or just to vent. The real answer, of course, is that I need to double-down on marketing efforts and get my traffic back up. Sometimes you've just gotta do some complaining though. 😤😝
