🚧 Do not buy that domain yet!

You just came up with your next side project idea and even have the perfect name in mind, but wait, before pulling out the wallet and give away your money to namecheap you should ask yourself the following:

• Have you already validate that you are solving a real problem?
• Have you already know if you have the skills and resources required to build it?
• Have you already started building the MVP?
• Have you already have a deadline to launch?

If you do not have answered the above questions I would recommend you to not buy that domain yet.

Buying a domain name can make you feel that you are making progress in your side project and even can be used as a commitment method. But the reality is that the domain name will not build the product for you or will make it great by default.

The real progress come with building and launching, and even when the domain name can help you with your SEO strategy, you need to build the actual product first.

There are good products with not-perfect domain names that are successful, but there are not bad products with perfect domain names that are successful.
