Do you have any advice about launching on HackerNews?

I'm considering posting my product on HackerNews's "Show" section with the goal of getting feedback and ideally a couple of early users.

Makery is a static side-builder built for developers and freelancers, so believe HN's audience would be a good fit for the product.

What kind of preparation should I do before publishing the post?
Do you have any suggestions about the timing or the content?
Should I post my landing page or just the demo site?
