Do you like Slack?

I like Slack! I used to work remotely before the pandemic, and it was a great way to keep in touch with my team and lurk on other channels. I like that Slack is customizable (adding emojis and has an extensive API to create various apps and bots).

I originally installed it on my phone, but I quickly uninstalled it. It was tempting to regularly check on new messages, but I realized I was never really disconnecting from work.

I always treated Slack as an asynchronous communication tool. I never expected to be answered instantly, and neither I replied as soon as I received a message (unless I wasn't focusing).
