Do you use Beta users?

I'm at a point with my product where I like the idea of getting a few beta users. Is that something you guys do? If so, how do you find beta users?

Obviously, I would offer a free subscription to them, bu wasn't sure if many people are willing to beta test someone elses product.

    Hey Jase,

    It's always exciting when the product is ready for some beta users! Here are some suggestions:

    • Start with pre-launch landing page + email sign up. I wrote about this in details on how Find beta users and start creating some buzz: https://www.foundersbeta.com/startup-marketing/find-beta-users-for-your-startup/
    • Tap into online communities such as forums, Facebook groups, etc. of course figure out where they ideal user might hang out
    • Twitter is also great as there are many early adopters there
    • Content is still the king! Sharing any related content can help start gathering the right audience and finding beta users
    • I have seen some great tactics such as create a Slack and invite your beta users there to connect

    Building community around the product is always a great idea and it should start early.
