Does anyone else still manually retype invoice PDFs into Excel?

I’m exploring a very small Micro SaaS idea and want to sanity-check the problem first.

I do freelance + light bookkeeping work and still end up manually copying
invoice PDFs into Excel.

Line items, totals, tax — it’s slow and error-prone.

I’ve tried a few tools, but they either:

• Guess columns incorrectly
• Add AI “interpretation” I don’t want
• Or require accounts + subscriptions

Before building anything:
How are you handling invoice PDFs today?
Is this a real annoyance or just me?
