Does anyone have a good experience with Chargebee?

Instead of using Stripe alone, I wanted to outsource to Chargebee all the invoicing, VAT management, Addon charges, PayPal support.

I have been struggling with Chargebee as their system seems pretty buggy:

• There's no way to offer a 100% off discount on a paid plan, it fails with a ReCaptcha error (They acknowledged the issue and they are working on it, but still I cannot give a coupon code to offer free membership to specific users).
• They do not support coupon code that offers first month/year for free (pro-rata on the invoice).
• There's a shameful Javascript error if you use the popup modal for payments on iOS (the support asked me to redirect to a separate and not use pop up – it should work out of the box).

All these issues I faced makes me question if it was a good idea to rely on the payment system of my Saas product for such an unstable service.

Anyone else had a similar issue with them?
