Does #buildinpublic is worth the effort?

motivated by two articles (of @meisuleen and @edwinwee), here on IH we (JUST-SELL) give it a try with twitter and #buildinpublic / #BuildInPublicStripe

#Will it be worth the effort?
As it looks like in some articles here at IndieHackers, it seems to be promising. But like many things in real live, you will only see if you try.

✅ So, we decide to try it!

Here is our first experience!

We are exciting to try something new. Like a little child who opens a gift, you are curious about what to expect.
What's about you? Is that the same with you?

First thing we learned about twitter and wan't to share with you:

Don't start a tweet with @, if you wan't everybody can read it.
If the first character is an @ (like @indieHackers), twitter only shows this tweet to followers, who follow you, AND @indieHackers.
To make an posting readable by everybody you can add only a . in front of the @, or respell the sentence so that the @ appears later on in the message.

We are not yet familiar with twitter but we are willing to learn. So we appreciate each advice or suggestion by you.
