I accept payments via Stripe. Every once in a while, somebody requests a refund. I'm happy to refund them, but I would rather not refund them through Stripe, because that can hurt my standing as a Stripe account holder (can limit my ability to increase our limits, too many refunds can get you kicked off, etc).
Does this exist: a company or a way that I can send the $ back to the card of the person that paid, but directly (aka not going through Stripe)? So the person gets the same exact $ sent back to their card and they're satisfied, but Stripe never technically issues them a refund through their platform, so my standing as an account holder is protected.
I'm envisioning this company would maybe draw from our account the amount that we say the refund is for, charge us for that amount, and then send it to the customer's card? I probably don't understand the complexities at play, but wondering if this exists. Anything helps. If ur smarter than me, plz make this if it is possible. Thanks.
