E-mail introductions: real people, real connections

Hi Indie Hackers,
I am in the process of validating e-mail introductions business idea, and would greatly appreciate your feedback!

Background:
People personal and professional life depends on relationship building.

  1. Whether you are sales representative looking for leads likely to convert to real users - think of being introduced to people who are desperately looking for your type of product (vs. cold e-mails with low efficiency)
  2. Lawyer/accountant/broker with long (1-5Y) sales cycle, who aims to maintain relationship and to create additional goodwill by offering introductions to existing customers
  3. Or, job seeker, looking to increase chance of landing an offer successfully

If you send e-mail introductions often, you are likely to face the following problems:

  • Hassle of asking for intro opt-in numerous times (more respectful than surprising somebody with unwelcome intro)
  • Time required to draft introduction
  • One person that you aim to connect forgets to reply: imagine, how unprofessional you might look in front of the other person
  • After being moved to bcc, you have no idea if intro provided goodwill to both connected parties (contrary, you might get stuck on cc, being flooded with e-mails)
  • Difficulty of tracking opened introductions

Solution in a nutshell:
Automatic intro opt-ins, feedback follow up, tracking intros, templates

Target clients:
Real estate agents, VCs, CEOs, sales, biz dev, media, insurance agents -
& other professionals who rely on relationship building
