Has anyone noticed the low quality of Product Hunt submissions recently?

Does anyone know what the deal is? Is there somewhere else people are posting products?

I'm surprised when I see a product on Product Hunt that looks valuable. For me, most of the things that get posted these days are apps I'd never use, clones of stuff that already exist, list/directory apps, or "products" that are so limited in purpose they should be features of something that actually provides value.

Still, I check it absolutely every day in search of the one diamond in the rough, so I guess the model still works :D

Product hunt is good..but people are posting to lots of other sites as well
