Event Marketing Tips?

Hello fellow growth hackers!

One thing I really struggle with is event marketing in a short span of time. While we like to plan ahead, sometimes time isn't in our control (from higher management).

We're in Singapore. What we usually do is to post it everywhere we can (Eventbrite, Peatix, Facebook events) and run ads featuring a poster that attracts attention - of speaker, of accolades, of previous event attendees.

Still, it seems like there's no "hack" to this but a typical method used by most event marketers.

I was wondering if there's any event marketing pros here that could share a tip or two on perhaps a new way of marketing events?
