Everyone says “AI makes building a SaaS easy.”

It doesn’t.

It makes building faster.
Not easier.

The hard part isn’t generating code.

The hard part is:
• knowing what NOT to change
• protecting working features
• debugging edge cases
• dealing with real users hitting real problems

I had my first serious user send a real proposal through my app.

PDF broke.

That moment hits differently.

Because now it’s not theory.
It’s someone trusting your product.

AI helped me build faster.
But it didn’t protect me from architectural mistakes.

That’s still on me.

Lesson:
AI is a force multiplier.
Not a replacement for engineering discipline.
