We launched on Product Hunt https://bit.ly/3i5x3zH.
That was quite a roller coaster experience π.
After 10 days of planning on message, emails, channels, designs, logo, press kit.
We had to hunt it ourselves.
It started kinda well and got to #4 of the day, but then went down on the bottom of the list due to community supports with newbie accounts.,So we went into a feeling of kinda losing the whole thing πKept pushing by sending personal twitter messages to top hunters and requested for feedback.
Gradually, we started to get hits and now came into 2nd Product of the Week. π^_^
Congrats on finishing high. I'm planning to launch this month. Many of the product early adopters to my platform would be new bies to PH. Do you think requesting them to support is a bad idea? How welcoming are the top hunters in Twitter for introducing the product for requesting feedback?
You'd better ask them to open an account a few days prior to your launching and make engagement with the platform. To my experience, Top Hunters were pretty busy with their own stuff and full of the inbox. so they sort of check them out upon their catchiness. Try firstly to engage with them, leave comments and friendly/respectfully ask for their feedback on your product.
Good Luck
Thank you for sharing!
