I've had a really good experience with BetterUp, and found coaching sessions actionable and useful, even if they were just for catharsis and business therapy. things are a bit different now I guess as an IH...
I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for where to find coaches? My goal would be to have accountability, and also the guidance of someone who has been there before and can offer objective feedback. Clarity.fm has been good for one-off help, and BetterUp is geared towards helping companies as a whole. thanks in advance.
also, if you have done this, what has your experience been as far as cost per session, and frequency of sessions?
I've found mentor/advisor programs at co-working spaces have been particularly helpful assuming you live nearby one. They're usually volunteering their time but are very willing to offer their advice because they're "giving back" to the community.
Just curious are you expecting your coach/mentor/advisor to hold you accountable? If so how?
that's a good idea, actually i wanted to take advantage of that at the coworking space i hope to join this fall, where it's one of their differentiating offers.
i was hoping for the accountability piece, mainly enforced by check ins, questions, conversations. and of course the financial investment on a recurring basis.
