That is with no audio at all just the promise of a show. It far exceeded my expectations and I cannot wait to get started on it: https://www.implementingelm.com

I am sure I will be asking for pointers and help along the way from y'all so stay tuned.

Thank you so much for the encouragement and I'm glad you like the glitch effect! I thought it would be a good brand differentiator

Thank you! I will let you know. I think I want to try and get my hands dirty first before hiring out, but I will definitely let you know! Do you do any coaching on how to edit?

No, not really, but that's a good idea. Maybe we should start a course!

          I would take it!

That's a great idea! Cross-pollination into the podcast world from SaaS-land, I like it. :D

Nice! What did you do to get traffic to your landing page?

    1. 1

Thank you! I am lucky to have most of my target audience on two focused community sites:

      • Elm Slack
      • Elm Discourse

I also posted to Twitter, but majority of the traffic came from the first two.

Awesome! Love the site! Can’t wait to listen to the first episode! (Oh and yes that effect on the hero sections is sweet!)

Thanks Joshua! Hopefully it will meet expectations. Hahah part of me wishes I was taking your approach and hitting the scene incognito 😂

Lol! Nah; you're doing it the right way. You actually have a bunch of us ready to listen and give you feedback to make it better. Starting from 0

I threw this up real quick for reference: https://www.implementingelm.com/setup/

I am starting with semi-low key equipment and going from there. I think I will only worry about getting more professional equipment if I am getting a lot of download or complaints about quality.
