I'm a former skilled software dev/product mgr. While I can hack my way through code, I'm not your dev! If you tell me what you're working on perhaps I can help.
I'm assuming that the vast majority of users here have a limited budget/finances. So, I'm not looking for a paid gig, but looking to help if there's a fit.
At the same time, I'm working on a project that involves e-commerce, viral-loops, and user acquisition. So being able to discuss/bounce thoughts off/with someone with a front/back tech understanding would be useful.

Hey Bruce, thanks so much for posting this! I've been wrestling with an issue for the last month and would love someone to brainstorm ideas with.
I built a price comparison Chrome extension called Compass, https://letscompass.com and we currently have 300 users. I've been trying to come up with a way to encourage users to share the app with their networks (viral component) but have yet to come up with anything I feel is workable.
I'd love if we could chat more and brainstorm some ideas about how I could implement a more viral component to the app.

I can help with a whole bunch of things related to software development including architecture, tooling, infrastructure and coding suggestions. I've done a lot of technical hiring so I can help you preparing for an interview or even designing & understanding what makes a good technical interview.
On the business side I can help with product ideas and development, mid-to-long term strategy, preparing for funding, building a good team culture, leadership challenges and much more.
What I need help with is sales and marketing, specifically the early growth stage of new startups. I also would like help on the design/UI/UX side of things to take my web pages to the next level.
I feel like we could get a big group together just on the "how do I start with sales and marketing" topic. Because SAME.
Though if you have a page you want me to look at, UI/UX is my background.
