There are a couple of trends that are coming together in this last decade or so:

• Tech stack is becoming easier and more accessible because of all the (free) online resources
• The technical aspect of stacks is decreasingly important. No coding tools are becoming available at an exponential growth
• Indie developers/Bootstrappers/Side-project hustlers/entrepreneurs & wantrepreneurs are gathering to learn from each other and help each other to thrive in communities like the ones you are putting on the map
• Validating ideas has become easier than ever before because of all the tools available. This helps people to start pivoting their ideas and save their time of effort for that one idea that gets traction. This increases the number of ideas that actually will get enough dedication and effort put in to make them succeed

So I agree when people are saying things like "there is no better time to build product than now".

The energy it takes to transform your product idea into a viable solution has decreased significantly, while the available collection of (free) learning resources and maker tools has grown and is growing faster than ever before
