Feedback: Am I crazy for thinking like this?

IH'ers, I could really use your feedback on something...

Here's some background on the product.

Komms.io (formally ChatMod):

  • Currently B2B :: Automated Telegram Community Management.
Communities add our KommsBot to their Telegram groups — communities/companies can moderate, secure, and grow using a dashboard and the bot.

    • Users: 1,732,826M 🔥
    • Channels: 3434
    • Active Channels: 439
    • Teams: 2120
    • Active Trials: 17
    • Expired Trials: 91
    • Customers: 113
    • Price/M: Free, $100, $250

We created Komms primarily for the blockchain space, but quickly realized that communities in different niches are using the service for Telegram. Even though providing a SaaS product for community owners is our core value, we are starting to realize that we can provide even more value to individual Telegram users as well.

i.e. Going from B2B to B2B & B2C and adding more features/value for individual users to use. (One feature that we are rolling out is User Verification. For example, User Verification means that we can track airdrops for users that signup, give users exclusive access to closed Telegram groups (groups that only allow verified users), and some other features that we're working on.

My thought here is to provide a Pro service for users where we can charge a small subscription fee to get a personal bot that provides value to them.

So my question is, am I crazy to think that we can charge communities a price point for a service and charge users a smaller subscription fee if they want a personal "Pro Komms Bot"?

I'm always looking to the Asian markets for different business models and in Asia, businesses are providing a spectrum of value from the end consumer to B2B. Seems to work for them.

Thoughts?

Note: I almost didn't publish this after listening to @csallen's podcast ep with Jason Fried. What a great and eye opening episode. 🤯
