Feedback is welcome for our landing page!

Hello indie hacker friends!

I just released this landing page (https://ideaio.xyz/). We are at the idea validation stage. My co-founder and I often discuss ideas remotely as we live in different cities. We feel the pain that our discussion sometimes leads to no further actions. Sometimes we also feel our thoughts are too wild without an organized way of presenting. We find that for some talking points we need some ALONE time to think.

That's the context and the reason we came up with this ideaio.xyz!

Does the content make you understand what problem we are solving?
What are your top pain points when async communicating with your team?

Any feedback/thought is welcome!! Thank you! ;-)

@eg21, there is a new thought organizing and note taking launched on ProductHunt every day. Did you try to find an existing solution to your problem? How is yours different?

The problem with them all is that they add one more chore to the process without solving the underlying problem. It should tie with the rest of the workflow of the business to be effective and sticky.
E.g. quite a few of my clients use Jira and Notion. We capture notes there. Only the important bits get captured. It a chore none wants to do, but it works.

If you could come up with a more effortless way of capturing and prioritizing those notes/thoughts it would be a more compelling proposition.

Maybe I just misunderstood what you are trying to do, though.

As far as the page goes ...

    1. Use graphics that visually explain what the product does or how it does it.
    2. You explain all the benefits, but do not say how it is achieved. I'd think that your target audience would already be aware of the problem and the benefits of a solution. Tell them why they should pick your solution.
    3. Everything from "pick a template" down is probably redundant. Does that even matter at that stage of the funnel? I would need to get past [2] before I even consider all the nice-to-have features.

If the above is of value I'd appreciate if you could test stackmuncher.com developer search. The UX is very confusing. I need external input to get unstuck.

Thank you very much for the detailed thoughts.

For #2, we encourage users to set a release time which means before the release time, no one can see your thoughts. Our hypothesis is it can help to encourage independent deep thoughts and eliminate herds effects in ideation/brainstorm sessions. Do you think it is duplicated?

For the HOW part, you hit the point. I left that part blank by intention and want to seek people's opinions. May I know what tools do you usually use to capture your team's creative thoughts? You mentioned 'it is a chore no one wants to do' - does it mean no one wants to take notes in meetings and send them to attendees afterward?

I would like to help you out with the UX part but I couldn't open it in my browser - Error 403. DM me anytime. Glad to meet you! ;-)

There is usually someone in the "owner" position who does all the capture.
It's not minutes, but more like TODO + Notes. I do it for myself regardless of who else is doing it. I really want a Noox or a similar eInk tablet for that. It's easier for me to jiggle notes and draw something than fill in a form. I go through a lot of paper notebooks and pencils. I am an outlier in this respect.

The herd effect is interesting. A tool can only contribute so much towards minimizing it. Not sure it will be enough for a value prop. Even if someone says they want to minimize it, what other actions were taken in that direction? I would validate that first.

403 error is from AWS firewall and is quite concerning. Are you behind a VPN? Can you try from a different connection/device? https://stackmuncher.com

I like the look of the site. Very elegant.
Only issue is I would recommend reducing the spacing on mobile. Too spaced apart and make the main title a bit smaller

Thanks for checking on both devices! I will change it. :-) Does the content sound clear to you?

No problem. Yeah it’s crystal clear for me.
