Hi everyone! We recently launched our landing page. Please have a look and provide any feedback. Any comment or advice is welcome. Thank you! : https://getsliver.com/
I'm having trouble understanding exactly what your platform offers. "Banking built for your growing business needs" is good, it tells me it's some sort of service for SMB banking, but I don't know what it does for me as a business. For example, your header "Introducing Virtual Accounts" doesn't mean much to me - that's more feature speak than benefit speak. As a business owner / potential customer, I'm immediately thinking "I don't know what a virtual account is. What do virtual accounts do for me?". It'd be better to start off with explaining a problem Virtual Accounts address, then explaining how they address that problem.
Here's what I would do instead: Make each header a primary benefit of each feature your product has, then use the rest of that section on the page to explain each of the sub-features. eg.
Main benefit (I think): "Limit excessive spending and keep an eye on each team's budget with Virtual Accounts"
Sub benefits/features:
This is great feedback! Thank you so much for the detailed response. I agree with you that we should focus on the “value” that a feature is providing rather than just explaining the feature.
hiiii I hope everything is great!
The title of the "welcome section" should be bolder so it gains visual weight (that's the main message)
The title of the different sections should be bolder too
increase the internal vertical space in the different sections so it looks more spaced
Make the blue button which is almost at the end of the page, super big!
Congratulations for your idea 🎉🎉
make sense .. Thanks for the feedback @devictoribero!
As other said, the landing page is ok... not great and probably has the wrong tone for a banking style app. The virtual account concept is pretty cool though - if it’s what I think it is...
About a year and a half ago I actually suggested virtual accounts to my bank via a customer feedback session.
I’ve never heard of anyone else talking about the idea until now.
For me, the virtual account idea would simply allow me to put money into various “buckets” without actually needing different accounts.
Say my actual account had $500, I might have a virtual Xmas account containing 100, another virtual account containing 200 for partying, and one for bills containing 100. I’d have 100 unallocated at that point. I could create another virtual account for an upcoming trip etc..
@Shaunau - Thanks for the feedback!
You got the virtual account concept right. However, we are targeting SMBs / early-stage startups. It will allow businesses to "bucket" ( budget ) their money into various areas ( including vendors, teams , department etc )
Idea is to provide hierarchical structure to budgeting but keeping a single funnel to Accounting.
I'm not sure what "Create Virtual Accounts for various purposes" means. Virtual Accounts can mean different things to me, so it would help to have a more concrete example of how I would use them.
@steveroberts - I agree it is little confusing without the context. I think as you and @yj said, it will be better to mention the benefit with some examples to better make the point across.
We'll be working on changes soon! Again, thanks for feedback!
Too many different colors
This is intentional so that customers can identify specific virtual account based on color. But I agree there could be better design/colors around it.
