Feedback Wanted - Selling Programming Courses

I'd appreciate feedback on this landing page.

I am selling programming courses to Software Engineers who want to level up and/or find a job in their dream companies.

I know I am using free template design and I don't have a custom domain yet. Please keep such technicalities aside in your feedback.

Struggling to find any part of your site that looks honest.

What's missing: I don't know how buying the notes will make me hit the $200k job. From the screenshot the secret notes just look like poorly formatted docs you can find on MDN or other webdev related blog posts.

As other mentions, the landing page looks like those scam sites selling guides to lose 30kg in one week, doesn't look very trustworthy.

Also, the promises look very hard to beleive: $200k job immediately after learning CSS,HTML and JS from a book. If it said a more realistic number, like the average starting salary for a junior web developer, it would have been a lot more believable.

95%, $4 off from $1100 is also a very strange looking deal (too good to be true).

    The story also feels fake/scammy:

She shared all her secrets with me that day! And today, I want to share them with you.

Showing testimonials with salary and name means the testimonials are fake because:

    1. Googling for the names returns no results of such software engineers.
    2. Most contracts, especially this high, have NDA contracts signed, publicly publishing the salary would mean breaking the NDA.

I don't think you will get too many comments related to the actual design of the page or what you can improve, because most people around here don't like those type of scams or taking advantage of clueless people.

I come here to agree with everybody else. While going through your site, my brain had a very big THIS IS A SCAM warning. You stress too much the price (not the value) of what you offer. You say there is a lot, but then suddenly I see 250 pages and some exercises...

You use the MY students, but you never say who you are, another very big warning... Like someone said, nothing feels honest about the landing page...

95% off says to me that the product is really not that much worth at all!

Yup, just like those udemy courses, they are always 90% off for only 23 hours left or some cliche.
Besides, ( I know this is not a feedback for UI/UX) think about it , there are already bigger platforms exactly like this, where training/help/coaching is even personalized (or atleast claimed to be) added with videos, step-by-step execution of code, forums, online chat rooms etc.

This is so weird I think I just want to say the story does align neatly to create trust, but I'm also super skeptic from the start, while I understand these work as marketing as a customer I'm like big red flag for scams, and no refunds is another flag.
Why for a 200k job notes about HTML and CSS that cost <10$ would make the difference...
You can't convince me that such notes got you a 50k$ raise...

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all you people - I am still going through each comment and working on action items from them. Thank you all again - please critique it more I'd really appreciate.

200k starts at 4 dollars? Something seems off.

It seems like you don't say anything about the product, anything that could build my trust and we going straight to payments.

I agree with Pawel. I presume the PDFs are the product, but there are literally thousands of those available online, why is yours better or different?)

    Hi ngninja,

    Here is my feedback.

First of all, the template design looks really nice.

I know it makes sense to put a big call to action button, however I don't think the small bit of text before the call to action (I want in) would not be enough to conveince me of the product in my opinion. Honestly, I would probably stopped reading after the first three sections (people on the internet have a very short attention span) without being convinced why I should buy.

It was only until I reached the very button where the look inside and testimonials that I thought to myself I see this could be something I myself would use.

To be fair, I'd say (I want in) call to action should always be visible to the user while scrolling through the landing page as in maybe floating to the right of the screen.

Personally, I write down notes myself to prepare for an interview. Ironically I find phone interviews a lot more easier to be successful at because of preparation and simply having notee around. So this is the reason I kind of understand why this product is valuable, but for other people they might need a little bit more of explanation.

I consider myself a very skeptical shopper, very frugal, try to make smart desions about my purchases, so natually do cost/benefit analysis subconciously, and based on this I would've appreacited the 'Look Inside' section way up top, possibly even before the 'I want in'. Reason being, like any other shopping site, I want to more or less see the product itself.

I think you should focus more on WHY having notes like this are useful, similar how you focused a lot on what the product is.

As a potential shopper, I would be interested more in how this product help me acquire a job successfully, over how much of a monetary leap I was able to make.

Before or during interview I would usually have a sense of how much I would be paid for the role I am applying, therefore, as potential buy, my immediate worry or focus is how to ace the interview succesfully over the actual monetary leap.

I would also put quote a smaller portion of the best client testimonial that speaks to how valuable these notes are.

If possible, consider doing some A/B testing if you want to go more scientific about what actually works or not to drive sales.
