It took some weeks of work. But building the product is NOT the whole part of the job :
That being said build the product itself was a pleasant journey. I strongly any Rails freelancer to build its own default Rails starter.
I was surprise that Rails do not always choose the most simple direction. ActionText, SystemTest are way too complex, amongst other things - simpler possibilities exists.
Being an Indie Hacker is also very enjoyable. You start to notice what's important, and how coding is NOT the most important part - all parts are important, so as the developer, one mistake is to overthink and over-prioritize dev tasks.
