Hey IH community π
I'm building Wealthos, software for tracking personal wealth and forecasting financial future: https://wealthos.cc.
Over the last few weeks, I've built financial planning for big life events. It's live in the Wealthos web app, and as MCP tools (wealthos.cc/mcp) so users can plug it into any AI assistant.
The new feature helps users budget a complex life project, like a home purchase, a wedding, or a sabbatical.

Users can create their plan from scratch or from a range of available templates: https://wealthos.cc/templates
A plan is a list of line items, each with its own estimated cost that can be defined manually or calculated based on formulas. All line items are summed into a total budget.
The user sets a target date for a plan, then chooses how it's funded, either based on their total wealth tracked in Wealthos, specific accounts, or a manual starting number. Wealthos then shows how much they need to save to hit that budget by the target date.
When a plan is defined, users can promote it to a goal to track progress or run a simulation on it to see scenarios with different savings and expense options.

My next focus is improving the simulation experience for financial planning.
Besides this, I'm also planning to release a local desktop app for Wealthos, an alternative to the cloud version where user data stays entirely on the user's device.
