Finding meaning in doing what matters

Hi Lee, I got here some days ago and for some reason you question made me write more than ever, anywhere, for a reply (in a good way). Finding meaning does not mean that sometimes you wont have a rough time while working in a new project or idea, lets face it, its hard to be an entrepreneur and it is very hard to do stuff that normally would not be part of your abilities and interests (Example: a backend developer must talk to customers, do marketing, engage customers, design UI) if it were that easy everybody would be launching successful companies and if that were the case something else would come up that required a massive amount of work and effort in its place that would provide more satisfaction to some people like us, this by itself, is an immense satisfaction for entrepreneurs, putting enough effort, time and heart to some idea that you think should be shared with the world and then having an impact in other people life is an amazing feeling, in your case (btw i like your idea,it remind me of https://www.legendiaryofficial.com/ I know yours is for social and environmental missions) your startup might work as an amazing tool that entrepreneurs can use to spread the word of their companies. Any person has happy and sad times and that's completely normal, now, everybody is different, In my case I LOVE TO WORK, I have been working on a SaaS I co-founded for the last 3 years (Ethics and Compliance Industry), and a big part of my fulfilment comes from the people inside my company, I want to learn from them, make their life better, share my knowledge, thrive for excelence and work together for a common goal, another part of it comes from creating high quality software that my costumers can use and the quality of service we provide, feedback from our customers is a great motivation too, making their employee's life better is awesome, I feel a massive amount of responsibility for innovation and competitiveness with my self that keeps my mind going in more than one project at a time (now working on something new), this helps me breaking the routine. When things are difficult, my girlfriend, family and friends are always there to talk. I can't say I always feel motivated but this is something that comes and goes for everybody, even if they work for somebody else or themselves. All this can be resumed in a single sentence that a lot of entrepreneurs say but I firmly believe: "Enjoy the journey and benefits will be the result of your efforts." Good Luck with thegoodstartup.com I advise you to launch with enough content to get the interest of your users, after that, establish rules to make them come back (preferably a new story 3-5 times a week) I don't have experience in your startup field but recurrence is valuable for any product. I like this idea -- however, 5-8 stories on launch day seems like too much. It's unlikely most people will take the time to go through more than 1 or 2 stories.
