Finding your first users within the educational space

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to find users within the educational space?

We have launched a transcription app for students (www.focusonlistening.com) and we have been trying to post about it on multiple student slack groups, but have not really gotten any response from students yet.

Does anyone have any experience, especially from the educational world, on how they managed to get their first paying customers and how and where they reached out to begin with ?
