Wanted to throw up a coming soon page for a product I've been working on.
Turns out coming up with copy / design is equally as hard as developing software!
All of the website builders were more power / cost than I needed, so ended up throwing something custom together. I'm sure there's some issues with it.
Any feedback would be great!
Does it make sense what the product is?
Is the video too long?
Cheers!
I get the general idea, mostly from viewing the 'video' (which does not feel 'too long' but would probably benefit from having an explicit starting point as well as simple annotations or titles explaining the features or manipulations that are being shown).
The wording on the page is pretty sparse, so it generates more questions than it gives answers. Is it a Mac app only? Is it for anyone doing UI work (including those without drawing experience or talent) or mainly for skilled graphic designers? What if you don't already have a set of icons to start with? Are the icons truly 'pixel perfect' or are they vectors? What creation or editing capabilities are offered? Can you trace other artwork? More info about the company? Etc.
Hey appreciate the feedback!
For the full landing page, once launched, i was planning on breaking into separate sections to answer a lot of those questions.
For this version I was hoping to just give an idea of what the product was without going into too much detail. Sounds like I might need to give some more context though. The old h1 was "Icon design for non designers" which would probably help a bit, but I'll see what I can do
