
It's one user, but it tells me something the signup count doesn't. A signup means someone was curious enough to install it. A payment means someone decided it was worth real money. Either way, it's the first time that's happened.
My product is a browser extension for inline translation:
On top of that, I'm now working hard on a new feature: subtitle translation for YouTube and Twitch. It'll work both for just watching videos in another language and for learning one. Select a word in the subtitles and you get its pronunciation, an example sentence with it, its synonyms and antonyms, plus slang and business variants. You can save the word to a dictionary to review later.
For anyone who's monetized an extension: did conversions go up as you shipped new features, or did the people who were going to pay mostly pay early regardless? Trying to figure out whether finishing the subtitle feature will move that, or whether that group is already decided.
